The Irish Warriors team for the inaugural European Championships in the Oresund region of Denmark and Sweden depart for the tournament this coming Friday, with the first match taking place on Sunday against Germany. Two days later the team take on Croatia, which is followed by a game against hosts Sweden on Thursday. The final day of play consisting of ranking matches and a Grand Final will take place on Saturday August 7th.

Saturday saw the Crows first trip to the Lions' home pitch of C.I.T.Conditions were perfect with a light breeze blowing end to end.Despite missing a number of experienced players, the Crows travelledwell, recruiting several under-age players to make the trip.
The opening quarter saw Cork on the attack immediately racking up twogoals. The Crows weren't to be fazed however and answered with a braceof their own, finishing the quarter in a strong fashion.
